A series of graphs, charts and other graphics on Thursday showed how investors and companies fared in the weeks leading up to the U.S. presidential election.
The AP’s interactive stock market tracker showed that the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped more than 400 points, the S&P 500 rose more than 1,000 points and the Nasdaq gained nearly 1,100 points.
The index climbed about 500 points during the week.
The Dow gained more than 6% in the week ending Nov. 6.
The S&p rose by more than 7% in that same period.
A series also showed the strength of the Nas and Dow in the months leading up the presidential race, while the Nas added nearly 2%.
