The company is still in the early stages of the process of building the platform, but it’s already been a busy year for the quantum computing community, with the company raising $5 million in funding to build its own cloud-based data center.
And now, it’s bringing on another major backer, the Chinese investment firm CVC.
Quantumscape is already working with a number of big names, including Microsoft and Dell.
Its main business is in developing software that allows users to securely store and share data between different cloud services.
It’s now looking to bring its tools to other cloud platforms, which it says is something it’s “ready to roll out,” according to the company.
Quantumsource is an online database service that lets users manage their digital assets, including photos, videos, documents, and other digital files.
The company announced earlier this year that it had raised $30 million in new funding from Chinese investors, which has raised the company to more than $200 million.
